High-purity orbital welding
Autogenous GTAW tube welding on 316L, AL-6XN, Hastelloy, and titanium for process, WFI, clean steam, and gas distribution systems. On site or in shop, planned work or qualified overflow.
Certified orbital welders, weld head and power supply capability, and validation-ready documentation for pharmaceutical, biotech, semiconductor, and food-grade systems along the I-78 and Route 22 corridor. When a shutdown window is closing, you get a real availability answer on the first call.
Most calls we take are not new construction. They are a job already in motion that hit a wall.

Weld maps, weld logs tied to machine parameter printouts, coupon records, borescope inspection, material traceability, and purge gas certification, assembled into a package your validation group will accept.
Two separate failure paths. A power supply or weld head that quit mid-shutdown, and a certified welder who did not show up on a validated job. Both are treated as same-day problems.
Four steps, usually inside twenty minutes.
The emergency line is answered by someone who knows what a weld head is. No dispatcher script. Drawings and specs go to service@orbitalweldresponse.com.
Size, wall, material, procedure, access, purge, and documentation requirement.
Matched against qualified ranges, welder certifications, equipment on hand, and travel time.
A real mobilization time, or a referral. We do not take work we cannot document.
Two industrial regions connected by one highway. Coverage is built around drive time to a live shutdown, not a map circle.
Call and we will tell you. We give a real availability answer on the first call rather than a blanket promise, because a promise we cannot keep costs you a shutdown day.
Yes. Welders are qualified to ASME Section IX and work to ASME BPE, AWS D18.1, and ASME B31.3 as the job requires, with 3-A and cGMP practice on food-grade and pharmaceutical systems. Procedure qualification records are available before mobilization.
Weld maps, weld logs tied to machine parameter printouts, coupon records, borescope inspection, material traceability, purge gas certification, and a controlled turnover package formatted for your validation group. If your QA has a template, we fill out yours.
Yes. Certified orbital welder staffing on short notice is a core service, not an afterthought. Send the procedure, tube size, material, and site location and we will confirm whether we have a qualified match before you reschedule anything.
Weld head and power supply availability depends on current inventory. Call with your tube OD and wall thickness and we will confirm what we can put in a truck today.
Orbital welding rotates a tungsten electrode 360 degrees around a stationary tube inside a closed weld head, under a controlled argon purge, with the machine holding current, travel speed, and pulse timing constant. On pharmaceutical, biotech, and semiconductor systems the weld's interior surface cannot be reached, dressed, or inspected by hand after the fact, so the joint has to be repeatable and provable the first time. That combination of full-penetration consistency and machine-recorded parameters is what makes an orbital weld acceptable in a validated system where a hand TIG weld is not.
That's usually enough for a yes or no. If we are not the right shop for the joint, we will say so and point you somewhere that is.
